Important tips when calculating your flooring requirements
We encourage you to purchase a little extra flooring to cover both wastage and allow for a few extra planks that you can keep to perform any ‘patch’ repairs on damaged areas of flooring in the future. It is important to note that as this is clearance product you will be unable to find an exact match later down the track if required. Please see the instructions below.
How to calculate the required amount
Step 1. You will need to calculate the net area of your floor (sqm) For example 4x5m room = 20m2
Step 2. Add 10% for wastage For example 20+10% = 22m2
Step 3. Divide into full boxes (m2 per box is different on every product, please see individual product info for the m2 per box on the product you’re interested in) For example If the product has 2.5m2 per box then 22m2 / 2.5m2 per box = 8.8 boxes.
Step 4. Round up to the nearest box size For example Round the 8.8 boxes up to full boxes ie:- 9 boxes.
Step 5. You are now ready to place your order!
